The river of the water of life represents the Holy
Spirit. Both the river of life and the Holy Spirit flow from the throne of God.
The Tree of Life is side by side of the river of life. This is a picture of the
Holy Spirit flowing from the heart of Jesus Christ. The river of water of life
flows from the throne of God. The throne of God is symbolic of our heart. When
we believe in Jesus Christ and let Him sit on the throne of our heart, then
rivers of the Holy Spirit will flow from our hearts. Reference Rev 22
On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying,
“If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. “He who believes in Me, as
the scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would
receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet
glorified. John 7:37-39
