Joseph represents Jesus Christ! Joseph was betrayed by his brothers, Jesus
was betrayed by his own disciple. Jesus was stripped of his robe, Joseph was
stripped of his coat of many colors. Joseph was thrown into a pit, Jesus
descended to the lower parts of the earth.
Jesus was blamless, Joseph was blameless yet was cast into prison where he led
the prisoners, Jesus led the captives captive.
Jesus was crucified with two thieves, Joseph was in prison with a butler and a
chef.
Jesus said to one thief this day you will be with me in paradise, Joseph said to
one in three days you will be freed.
Jesus was resurrected to rule, Joseph came out of prison to rule Egypt.
The disciples did not reckognize Jesus after his resurrection some times.
Josephs brothers did not reckognize him when they came begging for bread.
Benjamin recieved a double portion.
Joseph and benjamin were sons of Rachel. Rachel represents love and good sight.
